Hi, I'm Calan!
Back in February 2015, I traded legal briefs for buttercream. I'd just welcomed my new baby and wanted work that let me stay home and get creative. So I turned on the oven, and Purple Heather Bakeshop was born.
More than a decade later, I'm still baking every order from my home kitchen in Maple Ridge. Everything is custom. Everything is homemade. And every order still gets the same excitement as that very first cake.
My Specialty: Decorated Sugar Cookies
If there's one thing I could ice all day, it's sugar cookies. Tiny details, bold colours, perfectly matched themes. Cookies are where I get to play, and where my customers keep coming back for more. Baby showers, birthdays, corporate gifts, holidays: if you can dream it, I can probably pipe it.
